Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Welcomes New Vice President, Strategic Planning

ATLANTA (July 2010) – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a not-for-profit and one of the country’s top pediatric health care systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Kilpatrick as Vice President, Strategic Planning. 
Kilpatrick’s hire concludes a nationwide search for a leader who will further the Children’s mission to enhance the lives of children through excellence in patient care, research and education. Kilpatrick comes to Children’s from Northwestern Memorial Healthcare in Chicago where he led system wide planning initiatives in collaboration with the medical school and physician leaders.

Kilpatrick’s expertise in strategy, business development and planning will provide a solid foundation as he leads in the development and implementation of Children’s companywide strategy. Overseeing the development of prioritized business plans, coordination of the annual organizational goal setting process and implementation of Children’s planning infrastructure, are all initiatives Kilpatrick will manage as Vice President, Strategic Planning.
Kilpatrick earned master’s degrees in both public policy and business administration from the University of Michigan; he earned his bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina.
