IDW Comics Launch on Nokia’s Ovi Store


San Diego, CA (July 21, 2010) – IDW Publishing today announced that it will debut the company’s most popular properties including TRANSFORMERS, Star Trek, G.I. JOE, Dragon Age, Witch & Wizard, Astro Boy, Danger Girl, Dreamland Chronicles and Ghostbusters on Nokia’s Ovi Store.  Starting this week, Nokia users can enjoy more than 120 different titles exclusively from IDW’s huge comics catalog. Each comic is available as an individual app, with more titles coming soon.

IDW joined with the mobile phone giant to kick off the launch of Nokia’s new comic catalog. Working closely with IDW, Nokia created a custom app that delivers a superb reading experience on a wide range of Nokia devices such as the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia5530 XpressMusic, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 mini, and Nokia X6.
